Chapter 3

Digital security for the family

Annex D - Notes for Translators and National Adaptors

This guide was developed within the DEPART Erasmus+ project and is designed for use across six partner countries: Romania, Italy, Slovenia, Belgium, and Poland. When adapting for national delivery, please note the following:

  • Replace country-specific examples where indicated: public service platforms (e.g., PagoPA for Italy, obywatel.gov.pl for Poland, eUprava for Slovenia), local scam types, and specific phishing scenarios should reflect the national context.
  • The Parental Controls section (Module 7) references the European Digital Identity Wallet and the European Commission's age-verification prototype. Update the rollout status as the EUDI Wallet becomes operational in your country during 2026–2027.
  • The legal references in Module 8 (cyberbullying legislation) should be reviewed against national law: France, Italy, and Ireland have specific cyberbullying legislation mentioned in Chapter III; verify whether equivalent provisions exist in your country.
  • The helpline numbers in Annex C must be replaced with national equivalents. Italy-specific numbers are provided as the default.
